01

Choose whitening if…

Your teeth are healthy and well-shaped but yellowed or dull. Professional whitening is fast, affordable, and reversible. Start here for most color concerns.

02

Choose veneers if…

You have chips, worn edges, gaps, uneven shapes, or deep stains that don’t respond to whitening. Veneers change shape and color at once.

03

Often, both

Many patients whiten first, then match a few veneers to the new shade for a seamless result. A cosmetic consultation with photos will make the right order clear.

Helpful questions

Clear answers before you reach out.

Which should I do first?+

If your teeth are healthy and well shaped and the concern is only color, start with whitening. It’s fast, affordable, and reversible. If shape is part of the concern, a cosmetic consultation with photos will show whether veneers, whitening, or both make sense.

Can whitening fix a chipped or uneven tooth?+

No. Whitening changes color only. Chips, worn edges, gaps, and uneven shapes are what veneers are for—they change shape and color at once.

Will whitening lift a deep stain?+

Not always. Deep stains that don’t respond to whitening are one of the reasons patients choose veneers instead.

Still deciding

Bring the question to a consultation.

Photos and a look at your teeth make the right order clear—whitening, veneers, or both.
