Website privacy
Website Privacy Policy
How the Legacy Dental Arts website handles website information. This policy is separate from the practice’s Notice of Privacy Practices.
Scope and information collected
This policy applies to the Legacy Dental Arts website. The website itself does not collect information through forms: its booking actions open your own phone or email application, and a call, email, or visit to a third-party website is governed by the applicable channel’s practices.
Like most websites, the hosting environment may process limited technical information necessary to deliver pages, such as browser type, device information, IP address, requested page, and security logs. This website does not use that information to build patient profiles.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
This website does not load a production analytics account, advertising pixel, session-replay tool, heatmap, marketing automation tool, or third-party chat widget. A privacy preference interface is intentionally inactive because there are no nonessential tracking technologies to control.
Before production tracking is enabled, the practice must approve the tracking inventory, update this policy, and implement any applicable consent and preference controls. Patient-sensitive routes must remain excluded from ordinary marketing measurement unless separately reviewed and approved.
Appointment and contact interactions
Appointments are scheduled with the office directly — the website does not create an appointment, email a request on your behalf, call a webhook, write to a database, or transmit your choices to analytics. Its request page deliberately contains no identity fields, insurance fields, health history, or free-text health information.
For a general non-urgent question, use the office contact details shown on this website. Do not send symptoms, diagnoses, treatment details, insurance information, photographs, or other private health information by ordinary email or a general website form. Call the office instead.
Protected health information
This policy describes website practices. It is not the practice’s HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. If Legacy Dental Arts receives protected health information as a healthcare provider, the practice’s approved Notice of Privacy Practices governs those records and the related patient rights.
Read it on the Notice of Privacy Practices page.
Service providers, retention, and security
The website does not collect or retain visitor-entered appointment information. Hosting, security, and other service providers may process technical data only as needed to operate and protect the website. No claim is made that any system is completely secure.
Before production use, Legacy Dental Arts must document each provider, the information it receives, retention and deletion practices, security controls, and whether a Business Associate Agreement or other vendor review is required.
Children, third-party links, and choices
This website is not directed to children for the purpose of collecting personal information. Do not submit personal information for a child through an ordinary website channel. The site may link to third-party services such as maps, social media, or financing providers; their privacy practices apply when you leave this site.
You may choose not to provide information through website channels and may instead call the practice. Requests concerning website privacy can be directed to the office using the contact details below.
Policy updates
Legacy Dental Arts may update this policy as the website or its approved technology changes. The updated date will appear at the top of this page. Changes that affect patient information are reviewed by the practice before they are published.
