Implant cost guide

What actually determines the cost of a dental implant?

2 min read · Patient guide

Implant pricing varies because implant treatment varies. Here are the factors that drive the number, and exactly what to ask for so you can compare estimates with confidence.

01

The factors that move the number

No two implant plans are identical, which is why responsible pricing starts with an exam and a 3D scan rather than a number over the phone:

  • How many implants you need—one tooth, several, or implants that anchor a denture
  • Whether bone grafting is needed before or during placement
  • The restoration on top—a crown, bridge, or implant-supported denture
  • Sedation—complimentary nitrous, or oral/IV sedation if you choose it
  • A temporary restoration while the implant heals
02

What an itemized estimate should include

Ask for an itemized estimate covering imaging, placement, the abutment, the crown, and any sedation or temporary restoration—then you can compare offices line by line instead of guessing what a single number covers. Call to confirm consultation and imaging fees before your visit.

Insurance and monthly payments

Our front office verifies your benefits ahead of time and files claims for you, and Cherry financing offers flexible monthly plans for larger treatment. Financing is subject to approval and terms.

04

Why we don’t publish a price list

A quote without an exam is a guess. After your consultation and 3D scan, you’ll see the plan on screen and get the itemized numbers that go with it—before anything is scheduled.

Helpful questions

Clear answers before you reach out.

Is the consultation where I get the actual cost?+

Yes. After the exam and 3D scan we present a written, itemized treatment plan. Call ahead to confirm consultation and imaging fees.

Does dental insurance cover implants?+

Coverage varies widely by plan. Our front office verifies your benefits ahead of time so you know what your plan contributes before treatment begins.

What if I need bone grafting?+

Grafting, when needed, adds a step and shows up as its own line on the estimate. Dr. Cady, our periodontics-trained dentist, evaluates your bone and gums with a 3D scan before anything is planned.
